I've read some of the previous reviews and a lot of people have wondered why it doesn't look like the 430 series Eureka filters. They described it as 'conical' not cylindrical . Well it's true. This product is really cone shaped. I was a bit worried myself because my previous filters were cylindrical. But, you know what!? This filter works! I have a Eureka pet vacuum (old generation) and it works. Eureka was supposed to advertise it as universally suitable for both DCF-10 and DCF-14, so it looks like a cone. I tried vacuuming for 10-15 minutes and the dust filtration is evenly distributed over the entire surface which is a big improvement for me. The cylindrical type cannot filter evenly. The cylinder type had dust in one place and a lot of clean space in another. To be honest this product solved one of my problems. I would say it deserves extra credit for that. I would give 5.5 stars out of 5.
