With many DCF-10 compatible filters on Revain, I've tried several. Like all the others, this one worked and adequately filtered out the dirt in the canister. I use a leg trim from a pair of nylon stockings that slip onto the filter as a "pre-filter" since I have pets that shed a lot. Definitely helps to save filters. On the other hand, this filter fits the canister much tighter than some other models I've tried. You have to force it the first time, but it works. I will order a different version
