My factory filter on my Eureka burned out after a few years and I needed a new one. I was thrilled to see that these filters were a lot cheaper than the filters I found locally, so I bought a couple of these, sort of one for now, one for the future. Well a year later I still have the first filter I bought installed in my vacuum and I only had to clean the filter once. Again, I vacuumed up a pile of dirt that had been spilled onto the carpet from a pot that had fallen off the table, which is not common for most. I would consider myself a regular vacuum user (we vacuum the house once a week) and am happy to still be using the first of the two filters I bought. As long as this filter fits your vacuum I would highly recommend it as you are getting great value for your money. Oh, as a side note, for those interested, I'm not the type to have allergies, so I can't comment on how good this filter is for return air quality. I know the filters I received did not have a HEPA certification or label, so please use this information appropriately if it applies to you.
