I already had one of these and use it on my desktop with a dual computer setup. Instead of taking it apart every time I wanted to use my laptop with a standard keyboard, I just bought a second one. The original has worked flawlessly for years, very few batteries have been used although it has rarely been turned off. So far this new element is working just as well. It's pretty easy, but I can still type pretty fast for my age. Just plug in a USB dongle, make sure you have the correct charged batteries installed, and you have a keyboard and mouse for just about any situation. Great product at a decent price. And the "feel" of the keys when typing is great if you know how to type blind.
