Review on Hummingbird Glass Straws Little Sipper by Amanda Hill

Great Success Exceeds All Expectations

A few years ago I bought a glass straw (which I recently stepped on and broke in half) but I prefer the ones I was given instead. I love the environmental benefits of glass straws - the fact that I don't throw hundreds of paper or, god forbid, plastic straws into landfills a year. I like it when drinks (ice tea and coffee, fruit juices) stain farther away from the tooth darkening. The only flaws I noticed with the previous straw were that it was a bit thicker than I would have liked and the tiny cleaner was too short to fit the full length of the straw. Hummingbird straws seem thinner to me, but they don't impede liquid flow, and the brush is just the right length to go through in one swipe. As a further plus point, they were significantly cheaper than the previous straw, which came with a very cool bamboo case that could only store one straw, but was very secure. All in all it was way more than I could have hoped for and it was a big hit here.

Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging
