Good pack for the occasional hiker, not highly recommended for a frequent hiker.

The zippers are a little cheap. If the bag isn't full then you have straighten the material to get the zippers to fully close. If you're wearing a tank top the mesh on the straps tends to rub your skin and is uncomfortable. It did seem to be waterproof, everything stayed dry in the rain. For the price, it serves the purpose for an occasional hiker. I don't recommend it for someone that hikes frequently.
