My Dyson DC 65 Animal Control was working great until I noticed it sometimes takes 3 or 4 switch presses to turn it on. That got extremely annoying. I immediately thought of a possible bad switch so I removed it, googled the part number and found this. Replacing the switch was very easy. After replacing the switch my Dyson now works as it should, one push of a button and it turns on. Easy replacement for an inexpensive part. If you have similar problems with your Dyson DC 65, this switch will solve the problem.
