🔌 Authentic Dyson DC33 Switch - 918989-02: Reliable Replacement Part Review

The Dyson DC65 stack vacuum's power button failed and it took several attempts to turn the vacuum on and continue working. This switch was a perfect replacement and easy installation. The model number of our vacuum was not listed on Revain, but the part number matched the parts lists we found online.

I'm so happy I decided to fix the broken switch on my Dyson myself! For less than $15, my vacuum is like new. It was an incredibly easy repair - I literally unscrewed four screws, removed the cover, pulled out the old switch, put the new one in, put the cover back on and replaced the screws. To what it is!

The switch on my Dyson has failed. I contacted Dyson as it was still under warranty, but I couldn't get the operator on the other end of the line to exactly what part I needed. This switch works fine, I am concerned about the choice of Dyson switch with the amp it is placed under. The beater and vacuum switch are the same as my Dyson. The vacuum switch has failed and is showing signs of overheating. The other switch that controls the whisk is showing signs of overheating but still works. I went to replace both, leaving a good one as a backup.

I loved that this product fits my Dyson vacuum perfectly and holds it in place. We have quite a lot of carpets in our house, and I think we probably vacuum more than the average household, so burning the switch doesn't seem that unreasonable. However, this is my second purchase from this seller. I've only been using the 1st from here for about a year. About $10. it doesn't really matter I guess.
