I purchased these to hang a clock since reading their product statement "HEAVY WINTER COAT AND LOADED UP BACKPACK STRONG! UP TO 65lb PULL FORCE." This claim is incorrect. My clock weighs only 5-10 lbs so I had high expectations. It unfortunately SLID down the metal surface to the floor and almost broke the clock. I'm now reading in the reviews that if these are applied to thinner metal surfaces such as a refrigerator or hollow metal door they won't hold as well. I can now say that is a very real assessment but they almost won't hold at all on those surfaces when any weight is applied. They need to make that point clear in their description so they don't waste my time or theirs.
