I wanted to love this monitor so much. For refresh rates, response times, and G-Sync, this really is an amazing price. After testing it on the display port, I found no tearing, a buttery smooth image, perfect G-sync compatibility, and every setting I could ever use. That being said, it would be great for budget competitive play. My problem, however, is the color. Whatever I did, how fine-tuned, and what color profile I used, everything was washed out and matte. It was perfectly clear what color it was and the range from black to white was ok. But nothing could get rid of that overly white faded look. If I only used it for work or for quick games without a large color palette, it would be a goalie. When gaming, however, Color Brightness is important to me, so I had to switch to something else.
