I bought this based on all the good reviews and was not disappointed. It feels strong and durable and the built in foil cutter works like a dream. With the help of this little piece of jewelry it is very easy to remove the cork of a wine bottle. I'll now admit that while I'm not a wine lover in the family, my wife is, so I gave her this as stocking filler for Christmas. Ever since she started using it, her comments are always; It's better than any corkscrew I've ever had, or, the screw just goes in and doesn't rip the cork like the others, or, the cork pops out so easily and just love how easy and effortless the foil cutter works and im Generally a corkscrew in general. She knows how fun and easy it is to use, so sometimes she lets me open her wine so I can have some fun too. We both look so ridiculous just standing next to each other with smiles on our faces watching each other twist that corkscrew. My wife said it was one of the best gifts I've ever given her. If you're thinking of buying this corkscrew then do it, you won't regret it.
