When I ordered this kettle two months ago the add claimed 750 watts. Now they claim 800 watts. In reality it is closer to 950 watts. If you are purchasing this to use in a situation with limited power ( inverter setup ), then be aware that it uses more watts than claimed. The kettle works great and boils water quickly, but they need to accurately state the wattage used.I measured the watts via a kill-o-watt meter, an amp meter and a victron shunt. All agreed that the watts being used are in excess of 950.
