This is electric tea pot is a perfect size for adding hot water to my Americanos. I want to save some energy and not turn my range on every time I need a bit of hot water. It looks great and easy to use but I was hoping it would be white like standard white appliances since it sits next to my white stove. It's more of a natural color which is great for textiles but not typically for kitchen appliances. It's overpriced for what it is. Should be half the cost.

When I ordered this kettle two months ago the add claimed 750 watts. Now they claim 800 watts. In reality it is closer to 950 watts. If you are purchasing this to use in a situation with limited power ( inverter setup ), then be aware that it uses more watts than claimed. This is a perfect little kettle. I'm usually just making one cup of tea or coffee at a time, and the size is ideal. The water boils extremely quickly. I have a larger kettle in the kitchen and bought this one for use at my desk, and I actually prefer this one in general.The best feature is the seamless interior. Other kettles, minerals accumulate in nooks and crannies. The seamless bottom of this kettle prevents that. It's so easy to clean!I really couldn't be more pleased.

I love the perfect smaller size and convenience. I use it daily for tea in my room. It heats quickly, is not loud, and is easy to clean. To extend it’s life, I have emptied and thoroughly dried the interior and lid to limit calcification. 1) Add a few drops of food grade mineral oil and wipe clean every once in a while. That will deter rust spots.2) Only boil filtered soft water to prevent residue buildup and make for ease of cleaning.3) Wipe dry before storing.4) To clean off rust spotting, add a few drops of food grade mineral oil and scrub with Grade 00 steel wool. We needed a small kettle to boil water to make coffee with our cold brewed extract (Toddy). Very light and convenient to take. We had a B&B but no kitchen privileges due to COVID precautions. This will go with us from now on rather than relying on the hotel coffee pots which are questionably clean and sometimes don’t work at all. Highly recommend this. We only used it four days, but it is simple and I trust it will hold up well.

I needed a small kettle to heat water at work. Its max water level is .5L which is just a little more than I need to fill my tea Yeti mug. I couldn't be happier it's light weight and even comes with a carry bag. It heats up fairly fast as well.

Never a real fan of Bodum's plastic but 500ml kettles hard to find. Lid removes completely which makes cleaning entire interior possible. Smells terribly of plastic. Do not buy it! Even though the interior is stainless, the plastic smells absorbs into the water and anything nearby. After a few days the smell reduced but is still strong, especially when it heats up. Also it does not have a UL test label or any manufacturer information on the box, sketchy. Will be returning.
