Review on 🌳 Efficient Drip-less Wood Glue Dispenser, 16 Oz Bottle by Jim Plump

I have been using this depth for about 18 months. I poured glue as soon as I bought it and started using it. My first impression was wow! it's perfect, everything quickly disappeared when the glue mirror fell off. I find it hard to use even with 80% glue in the bottle. The problem is that as the glue level goes down, you have to push harder to get even a little bit out of the nozzle. The lid has a rubber seal that is so flimsy that it doesn't stay in place when the lid is closed. When squeezed, it lets air through. I opened it up, put the gasket back in place, closed the lid tightly and repeated until I had a good seal. Eventually I will get a seal and be able to use it, but I need to keep refilling. When I try to open the cap all the way to the top, it gets stuck because 1) I have to tighten it really hard to get a good air seal, 2) the gasket gets stuck in the bottle along with the cap. Now opening becomes a problem. Bottom line, if you use it as a fashion show, or if you can keep adding to it, it's fine as long as you don't forget. Don't waste your money on this POS. I'll buy a bottle of wood glue with a spout and see how it works in the long run. If I like it I'll keep using it, and if not I'll look for something else. If you are wondering if there would be a squeezing problem with a normal glue bottle? You're right, but for the most part you can turn the bottle upside down, wait for the glue to reach the spout, and squeeze out some glue. If it drops below 25% I think I need to top it up. At least at this depth I don't have to refill every 3 days like now.
