Perfect fit for my 2000 Silverado 1500 5.3L V8. Be sure to perform the throttle valve learning procedure after replacement. Leave the battery disconnected overnight, then: idle for 3 minutes, turn off the ignition for 60 seconds, idle for another 3 minutes, turn the key off for 60 seconds, do not use the throttle or shift gears during the process a. Then ride at different speeds for 15-20 minutes. Should be fine after a ride or two.
