The spark plug on my Ariens snowblower is recessed, slightly angled and partially shrouded. My soft lined ratchet spark plug head was a bit awkward to use. This would have allowed me to loosen the spark plug by partially pulling it off the key to make it work at an angle, but then I had to remove the socket and take out the rest of the spark plug by hand because the socket was too wide. This spark plug wrench is thin enough and long enough to remove the spark plug directly.
