Healthier but need two!

Just got back from a big family event where we rented a space together. We made it easy by using disposable tableware. I'm very health conscious and don't like the idea of eating out of styrofoam bowls all day with hot objects that dissolve chemicals right into your food. I also don't like those fragile wax paper trays folded in half. Terrible for children and adults. I thought I'd try these out. Here's what I found. It's the perfect size, no waste by a huge but not like a tiny bowl etc. Recommend this size. You can always get seconds, but sometimes seconds aren't needed because that's a pretty good size. It's essentially a bowl, not a soup bowl. The texture is very heavy cardstock paper. The weight is a little thin. Not as thin as thin shells. These hold their shape very well. But with hot items, you want to use two at once, one inside the other. The first bowl never gave way, never got visibly wet or parts fell out, but you're just worried that will happen. Why take the risk? We didn't wear it, but mostly put it on the tables. Hot things would be too hot to hold on your lap with a thickness. When something was served it was eaten right away rather than leaving something like salsa in it all day. The things we ate in it are soup (lots of broth for example), very thick chilli beans, yogurt and sometimes mixed yogurt. with kefir of more liquid consistency. That worked great for everyone. Maybe the company just needs to make them two bowls thick.
