When we received the product, we checked it out. It connected to WiFi, and we could see using the Scope View app. A month and a half later, we finally need it, and it will not connect to WiFi whatsoever. Or, at least, we thought we were not connecting. The WiFi indicator did not tell us we were connected. Before connecting to WiFi, the instructions says to connect the unit to your smartphone. Well, there is no way to know you are connected to your smartphone. Very frustrated, I wrote a poor review, and tried to find out how to get hold of the company. After I sent it off, we went off to try again, this time, going through the steps, though we were getting no indication we were connected to the smartphone, or that the WiFi was actually connected. Voila! We pressed the right button to get the continuous feed and there was our view! So, yes, this works as hoped. We get a good view, the scope is easy to reposition, and we can zoom in and out. I am glad that we figured it out because I finally found out how to get hold of the company’s tech dept, sent an email, got an automatic reply that they would get back with us, but that was 3 days ago. So, I took off 1 star for that.
