Review on Secure Your Notebook with Kensington 64343 MicroSaver DS Keyed Computer Lock by Dave Hock

I read good and bad reviews on here and decided to give it a try. I bought it for a 15" MacBook Pro Unibody (Mid 2010). The quality looks and feels decent, I don't know why some people say it looks cheap. I think it's quite heavy. As for tearing off the rubber grommet Yes, it's quite easy to remove but it didn't work for me The only minor issue is that it only minimally covers the CD/DVD slot I haven't really tried that Eject disc to see if the lock would hit or not cause I'm worried what it might be Otherwise I'm happy with that Someone claimed their laptop was stolen because they left it unattended Locked or not , why would you leave something valuable unattended?You should know that if someone tries to steal something hard enough, they will get it no matter what.This lock is a deterrent, not a guarantee against theft.
