I can never travel light enough especially coming home from a trip! This bag seems to solve this problem. It’s light enough to pack in your suitcase. This is my main use for this bag - as a back up. I have yet to use it as an actual luggage. I don’t know how it’ll hold up after someTime but the zippers seem sturdy. There was a little bit of thread hanging out when I first got the bag but I hope it’s not going to affect the quality of the bag. Shipping was fast.Update: 1/3/2019:Added another star because it has been on multiple international trips using different airlines, and I haven’t had any issues with it especially since I checked it in. I just make sure the long strap is placed inside the bag so it doesn’t get snagged on any of the conveyer belts. The little piece of thread seems ok and has not affected the performance of the bag. I had brought home a small wooden chest from one of my trips and all I did was make sure it was padded up and around and that the bag was filled and secured. No issues and I’ve gotten my luggage (and items inside) come home in one piece.Update: 2/2020I have recently completed a 5 week trip that went from Asia to continental US and the Pacific islands. This bag did amazing, packed folded first in my luggage and I filled it up with many souvenirs from the different places I visited. I’ve used packing cubes to organize my items (clothes, snacks, footwear, and everything else in between). Seems to give it better form and easier to put on my other rolling luggage. Still highly recommend to unhook the long strap when checking so the bag doesn’t get snagged on the conveyer belts. No black marks on it or tears from checking it in. I’ve also washed it regular cycle, regular laundry detergent, and even put it in the dryer regular heat - and it still came out good & no issues Using it after being washed. My family and I will be moving countries yet again and I am planning on buying another size of this duffle bag from Gonex. Big thumbs up! Thanks Gonex!
