Nice and quiet but fun starting

Nice quiet ceiling fan. We have a Victorian house with intricate plasterwork and it fits into the space without being too flashy. My only comments: only works with the remote control (no chain) so don't lose the remote control haha, secondly it has a weird mechanical computer situation where it makes some noise and goes back and forth on startup. Apparently this is normal after checking with the company. Seems odd but as I said when it's on it's very quiet and moves a lot of air with no vibration which was important to me with our historical ceilings.
