iO CLEAN Carpet Shampoo - Deep Cleaner and Deodorant This cleaner works very well. I poured some in a spray bottle and attacked some of the stains that were coming from my pup who had an accident. I used a small scraper to work the solution over and let it sit for about 10 minutes. I then used a clean, dry cloth to soak up the excess solution and then used a damp sponge to remove the cleaner from the carpet. I was very surprised that it dealt with these stains and worked. When the carpet was dry, the stains disappeared. I had another chance to try when I cut off one of the puppy's toenails and cut open a critter who was bleeding everywhere. Since these were new stains, they came out right away, leaving nothing behind. So it works very well on blood and pet accidents. I haven't tried this in my Bissel Carpet Cleaner yet, but I'm sure I'll get even better results. The sooner you get to the stain, the easier it will be to remove. It also neutralizes odors.
