We ordered two of these cabinets with an extension built in. They arrived quickly. One was great - just what we wanted. USB ports and sockets work perfectly. Please note that the cord is short and has a grounding plug. We didn't have grounded internal extension cords, so this was an additional small purchase that we had to make before we could use the outlets. In addition, the compartment in which the sockets are located is flat. A lamp plug was too high; When this lamp was on, the wing door would not close. The other lamp was ok. The big problem was with the second closet. Judging by the photos, the top plate was beveled. In fact, the entire right side has been detached. (Bent screws were loose in the bottom cabinet.) The left side fell apart when we tried to straighten the top. We thought we could reattach this panel with wood glue. until we discovered that the screws holding a hinge to the top tray had snapped off. Each time the swing door was opened or closed, the screws popped out. Okay, wood glue can do that too. THEN we noticed that the entire piece of wood holding the hinges was split. Here it is. This second cabinet returns back. Revain's return service is great. There are no charges for returning a damaged cabinet and a replacement will be delivered by the end of the week. Fingers crossed that the replacement is as nice as the first cabinet.
