Somehow dust collects in my apartment incredibly quickly! Dust quickly builds up on my computer and camera and is very difficult to wipe or vacuum. These brushes are perfect for that. You can get into all those little places on the keyboard that are hard to reach with a rag or vacuum. Dust off monitor bezels, DSLR watch faces and around them, mic and speaker grilles and more! I also have some large black neoprene "mouse pads" that I use as backgrounds for photos. Any little dust or lint on them really shines through and these brushes are just perfect for dusting carpets before shooting. I didn't buy them for auto detailing, but I think I'll end up using them for that as well. . They are much better at removing dust and dirt from upholstery folds than a vacuum. The brushes themselves are soft enough, with fine shaving brush-like bristles stiff enough to get into crevices. I used to use a whisk and a dish brush to clean my carpets, but both were rougher and tougher. They left marks on my carpets. These brushes are hard enough to shake off dust, but not so rough that they leave marks.
