Turns TV on/off on some models

Pros: The cover looks very nice, fits the remote as advertised* and closes our previous remote after repeated drops. It seems to work just enough to keep it from slipping out of hands just as easily, although I don't expect it to offer a ton of protection when it does. (Again, it's $4 flexible silicone, not an Otterbox.) That means it keeps the back cover and batteries from flying around if it does, so at least it's a win! Cons: My only real complaint/warning is that our particular remote (Samsung O-Version EM, BN59-01241A) has buttons (play/pause, back and power) that are flush with the remote body, ie no separate raised ones Taste like many similar models and generics. . They have a small Braille-like protrusion, and in the case of the power button, you basically press the top-left corner of the remote to turn the TV on or off. This results in the case accidentally pressing down on that small protrusion all the time, which is incredibly frustrating. (For example, you reach for the remote, but this action shifts the body just enough that it sometimes pushes against the cornice.) I'm sure this isn't a problem for remotes with raised buttons, as they all look far enough away from the edge for the case to grab the edge but not touch the keys. So be aware that if you have this type of remote control, it could also be a problem for you. If not, I am sure you will be very satisfied!
