Alternator not good. Bought in June last year. At Goldwing, the drive wheel of the alternator failed. The first thought was that the native generator is broken. First, a generator noise was diagnosed. Bought this and exchanged it. Apparently the sound was still his own. A parked bike put on a battery would start every few weeks until I turned the engine off 5 weeks ago. Remember that the bike has not been ridden all winter. So 0 miles since the generator was installed. I just replaced the ADG this week but the bike won't charge. testing shows old. does not load. Thank goodness I didn't throw the old one away. replaced. The charger is great. So old. was not good from original purchase. Really disappointed. The crazy thing is I still didn't know it was a bad thing because I was waiting to do the ADG myself to save the dealer 4000.00. While I had the engine I also installed a new starter motor. Guess where I bought it. Now I'm worried about how long it will take. You get what you pay for. Be careful
