Batteries run out after 3-4 hours

I love everything about these lights except the battery life. The color and flicker effect are great. However, many (but not all) of the tea lights only run 3 to 4 hours on a charge. This is not long enough to test the timer as it is supposed to run 5 hours then repeat 24 hours later for up to three times.I am disappointed with their performance and am thinking of returning them.

Have these all over my livingroom. They do need recharged often, but they are just tea lights so that is to be expected.
