Installed on a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland with a 4.7 liter 8 cylinder engine. Easy installation if you have the mechanical skills, a set of sockets and a few other hand tools. The hardest part in my case was removing the metal guard/shield underneath the radiator. I needed access so I could drain it. These screws were rusty and one on each side was not perfectly aligned with the access hole in the guard. After it was shot, the work went quite well. As previously mentioned, the 8 bolts in a water pump are all different lengths, so be sure to label each bolt where it belongs. I watched a few YouTube videos and one suggestion was to put it in the appropriate hole on the new pump when removing it. Once you've got everything out, line up the bolts on the old pump next to you and insert them into the new pump one at a time. In any case, in general, a fairly easy job and not very difficult. . The pump makes a good impression and works perfectly.
