Perfect Fit for 2004 Jeep Liberty Sport 3.7L V6 4x4

Perfect Fit! quality product! Note that it comes with a gasket but NO spare screws. Consider replacing the thermostat while you have everything open. The bolts on these vehicles are torqued to 40 ft-lbs and are cross-torqued (similar to tightening nuts on a tire). It is also recommended to be built up to 40 feet. Pound. tighten to 20 ft-lbs first. her 30 foot pounds. and finally 40 ft-lbs. - All in a criss-cross pattern to ensure the correct puff offset.

Better than OEM for engine cooling and air conditioning

My truck's water pump has failed and I found this part from a brand I have known for years. After removing the old water pump, I found that the inside was all worn plastic. This new ACDelco water pump has all the metal components on the side. It fits perfectly and now my truck runs great. It's easy to replace if you know about cars. Just watch the video on YouTube. Take a picture or sketch of the serpentine belt pattern. Use OEM screws and make sure you keep them in the same order as they are…

Upgrade via OEM: Water Pumps

Turns out the original water pump had a plastic impeller. When I removed the water pump I found that the impeller was half destroyed and small bits of plastic were leaking throughout the cooling system. The cooler was also replaced as a precaution. The truck has done 183,000 miles, I don't think I have much to complain about. This ACDelco pump has a metal impeller and seems to be getting better. After installing it worked as expected. The arrow on the temperature gauge stays slightly closer to…

The seal material and design was much better than the OEM seal

Perfect for my 2005 Jeep Liberty Renegade. The gasket material and design was much better than the OEM gasket. It's worth spending a few bucks more on this model to get a metal spindle. Warning for those who have not yet changed the water pump on Jeep Liberty. The eight screws are different sizes, so make sure to place a marker on each one as you remove them. I marked them with numbers from 1 to 8 and erased them clockwise. When installing, I tightened the bolts to 40 ft-lbs. Be sure to use the

Saved my ass. Everyone told me the head gasket had blown.

Saved my ass. Everyone always told me that the cylinder head gasket was broken. Defective cylinder head gasket. here.> If you really want to know if you have a blown head gasket. With the cooling system filled with water and the engine COLD, remove the radiator cap and start the engine. If a jet of water comes out of the radiator, you have a blown head gasket and a host of other problems. Of course you can also see oil in water and/or water in oil and/or you will blow white smoke out of the…

Excellent product, the best of water pumps

Installed perfectly with no problems. Installed on a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee. My own pump made a lot of noise. Thought it was an engine problem. But I was lucky because it was easily fixed by replacing the pump. Note that the pulley/bearings are an integral part of the pump, so you will need to replace the entire assembly. I had to remove the alternator to get the pump out, but that was a no-brainer. I've learned to trust ACDelco when replacing OEM parts. I bought an ACDelco window actuator…

Fits 3.7L Grand Cherokee 2007

Five stars for AC Delco goes without saying. All I meant to say is that if you have a 2007 3.7 liter Jeep Grand Cherokee in your Revain garage, Revain will advise you that this product is not suitable for your vehicle. You can confirm that the correct water pump part number on the AC Delco website actually matches this pump. It fits perfectly in my 2007 3.7L Jeep Grand Cherokee. My only issue was that the bleed screw was pretty tight so in addition to topping up the radiator I disconnected the…

Works perfectly! in parts

Installed on a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland with a 4.7 liter 8 cylinder engine. Easy installation if you have the mechanical skills, a set of sockets and a few other hand tools. The hardest part in my case was removing the metal guard/shield underneath the radiator. I needed access so I could drain it. These screws were rusty and one on each side was not perfectly aligned with the access hole in the guard. After it was shot, the work went quite well. As previously mentioned, the 8 bolts in
