Review on 💦 ACDelco Professional 252-813 Engine Water Pump: Reliable Performance for Optimal Engine Cooling by Jermaine Munajj

Turns out the original water pump had a plastic impeller. When I removed the water pump I found that the impeller was half destroyed and small bits of plastic were leaking throughout the cooling system. The cooler was also replaced as a precaution. The truck has done 183,000 miles, I don't think I have much to complain about. This ACDelco pump has a metal impeller and seems to be getting better. After installing it worked as expected. The arrow on the temperature gauge stays slightly closer to C than center. Maybe the pump stopped working a long time ago.
