It is well made and smaller, you have to run it very quickly so that it throws away what it processes or just gets stuck. I think this is a great buy if you're avoiding plastic in your kitchen and need something with torque to process ingredients you've reduced, seeded or split. Personally I think some sort of grommet could have been used on the outlet and the attachment to the blade spool could have been tighter. Sliced items get stuck between the blade and body and turn to pulp. It's ok, I can get it to work and not feel robbed and it's designed to last a LONG time.
