You need it if you use natural gas!

This tool is designed to turn off the natural gas supply in emergencies such as fire, earthquake or gas line leaks in your home. It works on most household gas shut-off valves on the gas meter/pressure regulator. If you are unsure if it will fit, locate your gas meter and measure the shutoff valve plug. I think it's in the description. The zip tie is designed to hang this tool near an outside door so you can grab it quickly and then turn off the gas or hang it on the gauge itself when you are sure no one will be fooling around or stealing it.
