After a quick install, Wi-Fi worked great at first - ran a few tests on my internal network to see if I was getting the advertised performance and it started great. File transfer rates between devices on my network have been in excess of 900Mbps, which isn't quite what the company claims. I also ran some online tests and got an acceptable result of 920Mbps for my ISP from ookla. So far so good, right? Well, after about 20 minutes of use, I noticed that everything slowed down dramatically. I went to check the connection status and it seemed to me that the device had completely disconnected. After about a minute it reconnected by itself and everything was smooth again. This process never stopped. The maximum time the card could stay connected to my 5GHz network was about 33 minutes. The connection kept dropping and it took 60-120 seconds to reconnect. This is my first TP-Link product and to be honest I've lost interest in it due to the poor performance of the device.
