I think for the price this was a great office chair. The construction seems good (haven't used it for many years so can't tell). What I really like are the armrests. I used to have a chair where the rubber arms were held by flat pieces of metal. It ended up digging into the rubber as I rested and put my hands on it. Over the years, he punctured and rubbed the rubber armrests. That's one thing I'll always be sensitive to in the future. The armrests on this chair have rubber (harder in this case) that sits on top of the plastic, covering the entire length of the armrest, not just part of it. So there's nothing to press and rub to damage the rubber armrests. They also retire, which is a nice bonus. Mesh seat and backrest have proven their strength so far. Wheels aren't the best. Not at all. But they work. I suppose you could upgrade them by looking around, although the size seems pretty standard. They just invade. I'm sure there are better ones, but they work really well. Just not as good as some of the other chairs I've had. small detail.
