Review on Oakley Light Assault Boots Coyote Men's Shoes by Michael Briggs

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Loud and uncomfortable boot

I don't usually write reviews but after my experience with these boots I had to. I have had old Oakley Storm Boots in the past and was very impressed with the quality of the previous versions. I've worn previous Oakley style storm boots for over 2 years with no problems. Because of this experience, I did not hesitate to buy the current version of the Oakley boots. There was an error. Pros: AR 670-1 compliant, lightweight and breathable. Cons: Lack of support from the supplied insoles, forcing me to change out the insoles or I couldn't bear to wear the boot, this boot is not waterproof and these are by far the noisiest boots I've ever worn in my twenty year old had military experience. The boot literally crunches as you walk, and the soles constantly creak when they get wet. Overall I was extremely dissatisfied with my purchase and for the price I feel like there are many better options on the market. I hope you read this review before purchasing.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Too blunt
