Accurate, made of brass, the markings are stamped not printed which is amazing. Machining could have been a little smoother as the slider body was milled to look like a 1/4" end mill. Again, using gun oil can help it run smoother. Handy for quickly measuring the thickness of material, sometimes less than 4 inches long. That's probably just me, but I think the caliper is a bit more accurate on the metric part.
