These cameras are great for our second home that we are renting out while away. The motion detector sends us an alert on our phones so we know when packages are being delivered or guests are coming and going. I recommend inserting a 128GB micro SD card so you can go back in time and see what happens if you didn't have time or were busy when the alarm went off. The cameras also have a microphone so you can hear what's going on too and we can make sure there aren't any loud disturbances or parties. Motion detectors can be sensitive to outside lights or birds, snow/rain or melting snow, but you can easily disable motion detection and adjust its sensitivity. You can share alerts and cameras with family members or carers if they download the app and you send them a sharing link. I haven't caught any animals yet, but I think it's a matter of time. They require a plug-in so you have to plan the location a bit and we needed power extenders which were also available from Revain. They go off from time to time and you can reset them by turning off the power and they'll work again, but if you live far away and don't have a local person to do this for you, you're offline until you come the The back. Support/customer service was quite quick and helpful. All in all a great price with many features. I really like that I don't have to pay a monthly subscription. I think they have a cloud service if you want it at a modest price. I'm very happy with my purchase and that's why I bought a second one and am considering some for my main residence.
