Clamp works, but the two-sided side of the clamp is fixed in the center of the pin. This allows the clamp to open just 3.5 inches. You are unlikely to be able to attach anything to each other. The picture shows that they are hinged directly to the flat clamping side. They are actually 2 inches apart, making them almost useless. See the full size image above. Also look at the picture that shows how they lost an inch and a half on both sides of the clip. The pin side of the clip is too short to use more than 1 inch thick material for the clip.
