I used this to drain 30 gallons of fuel out of a boat. For that it worked great. It took just over an hour, including stops, to pour a 5-gallon can into nearby vehicles. It accepted a 5/16" fuel line and I even put in a cheap built in filter to trap dirt. The pump is quite noisy and to be honest, judging by the noise it makes I don't know if I would personally trust it long term in a vehicle or similar situation. But for utility work where you don't want to spend a lot of money, it's perfect and/or canteen. Trust me.
