So far, so good! I don't think there really is a good place to wear any type of watch or monitor. I wear it on my forearm and don't even know it's there (although I have an odd tan line now). In addition, through all the bumps in the road and while driving, it records the exact heart rate. So far the battery life is amazing - I'll update if I come across anything other than what I've left here so far.
