for a while, and while it works pretty well for simpler tasks, it gets pretty hot when plugged into a bunch of things. This can be annoying if you want to use it as a dedicated computer. I bought it with the intention of using it as the main dock for my dedicated workstation with my Mac and never thought it would be this good. It has no overheating issues at all. It always stays cool or relatively warm, but I have a camera, a mouse, 2 displays and an external hard drive and it didn't reach the temperature of my other dock. It also doesn't throttle any of my devices or my external hard drives. Everything remains fast and works without problems. One of my best purchases of 2021 so far!
