Strong magnet, great size for a large aquarium. It only takes a few puffs to remove algae from my 65 gallon reef tank. The blade is made of plastic so that it does not scrape off calcareous algae. I also like the black color so the seaweed doesn't show up as well on the internal magnet as it does on the white plastic mag float. I have this scraper and mag float in my aquarium. I use a mag float with a metal blade to remove coralline algae.
