I bought my first duvet cover set from Eikei a few years ago and it's still my favorite set. I bought this in gray and it's hard to tell if it's heavily faded (probably a little faded after a few years of washing), the fabric itself still looks and feels good. That's what I like. It has a rougher, crinkled linen texture but isn't really rough to the touch. For people who don't want that shiny duvet, you'll appreciate it. You'll also appreciate it if you like your linens to look crumpled. By this I mean that some materials will have creases and it will look like creases. It has a "so woke up" look that is intentionally not smooth but looks great the way it is. I don't know how else to describe it. You will have a very nice duvet. Pillows - fake bedspreads. Let me explain if you're new. Regular pillows have a hole on one side so you can see the real pillow underneath. Shams are usually decorative, meaning they look like a pouch (sometimes with a zipper, sometimes it's just a hole that fills itself). There is a flange running along the edges which is more decorative. But other than that, it's still a pillowcase, so I'm worried now. At $80-$90, it's not cheap by Revain standards, but I think it's worth it for something that will last at least a couple of years. Something to consider. is that you may have to buy a pair to see the color for yourself. There are various descriptive names, but you cannot guess the exact colors, and photos will appear different on different monitors and devices. I bought the Cloudy Sky for my second purchase and ended up returning it because it was too close to my gray hair. I won't deduct points because what could I expect from a name like Cloudy Sky. will it be blue Will it be grey? Will he lean more towards one of them? It's all personal preference. I would like to try the white side by side to see how it looks.
