Review on PSIM by Roberto Manzer

The ability to simulate various control schemes for different operating conditions is one of my favorite features. It's great how much flexibility you have when modeling your vehicle or machine as opposed to having to use several other tools if that were not an option. I dislike how long it takes to run simulations at times (can take upwards of 15 minutes). Sometimes there are problems where the program freezes but only after working properly for awhile and then suddenly crashes. Simulating AC induction motors can be quite time consuming due to all of the detail involved. Simulation speeds up this process by orders of magnitude!
