You can do it.

Just take your time and you can do it (no need to pay a professional). Lay a white towel on the floor and turn your MacBook upside down. Hand towel. You will need a small Phillips screwdriver. First, loosen the tiny screws on the back of your MacBook (don't worry about losing a screw. The white cloth will make your tiny screws visible if one of them falls out. After loosening all the screws, you can find one or two long screws (unscrew them but leave them in the bottom cover as it will help when reinstalling the bottom cover) and then locate the memory modules (they look like you're about to install them) clearly visible and are held in place by clips with each side. Pull the clips out and the old memory can be removed. Install two new memory modules using the same spring loaded clips and reattach the bottom cover with screws and you have that Upgraded memory to 4GB easily!
