I wanted more shoe storage for our back entry and was so happy to find these 4 shelves, it's exactly what I was hoping for. With a top finish shelf, it looks more stylish and looks more like furniture than a shoe rack. I bought the brown leg version and it's a lovely dark brown color that goes really well with the wood colored top. The instructions for installing the shelves are not clear, I didn't look at all the pictures beforehand so I didn't realize at first that you put them upside down and that's why my shelves were upside down. I had to take it apart and start over, but still it only took me about 10 minutes to put it back together. My husband wears a size 16 so I tipped the shelves and it looks a little better with his big shoes. Careful, I barely touched the screw on the side around the screw hole and the surface scratched easily. I also put it on the carpet but one of the shelves on the front has some signs of wear. I wasn't paying attention so I'm not sure if it was already there or if it was caused by the carpet. Overall it feels durable, looks good and is a better shoe storage option than usual and I'm glad I was able to find it.
