My grandson is 8 years old. He selected this item and when it arrived he opened the box. Needless to say, a twinkle in her eye, tearful and excited with happiness. Fits perfectly. We are talking about an 8 year old responsible but VERY ACTIVE child. She has been wearing it almost every day since she began her studies in September 2021. My daughter insists he uses other sneakers that he has to supply to her. This is November 2021. The shoes are still intact, the lights are still working and they are his favorite shoes. Let's not forget all the praise from other children and adults. A good product.
