This is a very good holder for some keys and one of those electronic keys for modern cars. I cut off the hook on the outside, put a split key ring in the leather loop and put some keys on it and the electronic key inside. My 2018 Hyundai Sonata picks up the signal from the smart key with no problem when it's in my pocket and in my pocket. I started carrying the electronic key on my key holder in my pocket, but twice I went outside and found the trunk of the car was open. Luckily nobody stole my spare part or anything but I suspect the wrong button was pressed while it was in my pocket. Since carrying the electronic key in this holder in my pocket, I have had no more problems.
