Config: Y540-15IRH-PG0, i7-9750H/16GB/1650/NVMe 1TB/FreeDOS/BOE CQ NV156FHM-N48 60Hz display (overclocking gave a maximum of 65Hz even with Pixel Clock Patcher, unfortunately). The undervolt is stable at -150mV per core, -150mV per cache. The ThrottleStop program also advises turning off the Power limit and setting 40W / 45W for a long and short boost of the processor for lower temperatures and even more stable operation. The same assembly of the Chromium browser already held 3.5GHz / 85 degrees. Webcam of decent quality, except that the location is below. The battery life is adequate "about 4 hours" in a gentle mode with wifi at low brightness. Could have put more battery, to be honest. Who cares about compatibility with Linux: to run something, you either need to use proprietary drivers (you need to add nouveau to the blacklist at startup), or sit on the built-in video card. The touchpad under Linux works better. Under Linux, the whistling from the coils disappears, and no matter what load goes to the laptop, I don’t know what it is connected with. Noise fix for Linux, fixes wifi adapter output power at 10mBm: sudo iw phy#0 set txpower fixed 1000
