This is the PERFECT speaker replacement for your Jeep Wrangler TJ console. Great, great, great, great, great sound for a very small price - this is possibly the best value speaker and I'm not exaggerating. If you are using a standard console/plastic you will need to cut the tabs off with needle nose pliers but it only took 25 seconds. Also four wires (2x positive, 2x negative) from the tiny amplifier need to be connected to the two terminals in this speaker - just connect + to + and - to - and everything is fine and in phase. Can't recommend enough. You won't get a boombox feel from it - there's no point doing anything else if you want to smash your house - but you do get satisfying, deep tones that complement your other speakers in particular. on the bar above. If you were looking for a soundbar compliment (above), I went with the Polk Audio DB651 - discontinued but fantastic price. It required some modification (drilling through the metal) but not a very difficult install and like that bad boy, you get a lot for your buck. Much luck! finance director
